The mission of Mad Club Music is to:
1. Be the No. 1 list to go to for all big and small live gigs in Barcelona, for visitors and residents.
2. Create a platform for connecting the multitude of live music artists in Barcelona with venues and bars that look for live acts to book.
3. Be an information space "for everything live music", as for example information about instrument shops, music schools, recording studios, laws for busking etc.
I created logo, website & brand design.
Design of packaging & brand brochure for Gyunel, London.
Logo Design, Branding, Corporate Identity for 3 restaurants/bars within the same hotel venue.
The UK Nikon branch wanted a more manageable brand guide, since the full international guide consisted of thousands of pages, and was therefore not used much by UK re-sellers and exhibitors. While working at DCH London, I created a system of sub-logos, some expo items (tops, chairs etc) and a small style guide that was more user friendly, and only included relevant information.
Branding concept for The Work Room, an independent dance organisation in Glasgow.
I focused on ‘The Work Room’ as a space. This is a room, or space, for meetings of independent dancers and minds, for new ideas to develop in the 'in-betweens', for meetings of hearts, bodies and souls.
My concept is based on ‘The Work Room’ being a forever changing space, and that being mirrored in this logo and brand identity. The starting point for the logo being the architectural drawings of the venue, I created six versions of the logo shape. A simple, contemporary and stylish logo, a changing logo for a changing space, which lends itself to a lot of fun, movement and variety in its implementation. This simple shape can be used in a very playful way throughout the identity.
In the spirit of ‘The Work Room’ being a place where anything can happen, a space full of possibilities, I have for the brand colours used CMYK. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black. Them being the base of all print, from which any and every possible new colour can be created. Just as ‘The Work Room’ is a base, a canvas, where any and every possible new creativity and expression can develop.
Corporate identity for an inspiring forward thinking space blending ideas from fashion, architecture, art and music.
The project included everything from logo & stationery design including applications such as coasters, match boxes & tableware, to designing posters, advertising, menus, signage and uniforms.
This is a highly theatrical environment, blending art and craft, luxury and technology, gastronomy and scenography into a contemporary, creative studio of upscale dining, fine wines and artistic media.
The support graphics for the brand creates the link to the surrounding nature, the minerals and stones of the mountains, as well as alluding to the topography of the landscape.
The brand is: Elegant - not flashy, multi-facetted - not confused, contemporary - not trendy, educated - not arrogant, assertive - not pretentious.
Jessica hired me to do her a quick presentation website of her and her work. Her brief included words such as: simple/clear, elegant, personal, integrity, stylish etc.
“A genius of website design. Takes all elements of the brief and comes up with something imaginative, strong, user-friendly, and better than could ever have been imagined. HIGHLY recommended.”
